Researchers from China's Xiamen University and their Australian counterparts have jointly developed a light-responsive adsorbent for sustainable seawater desalination.
The adsorbent with high efficiency and low energy consumption can quickly adsorb metal ions from water based on a metal-organic framework.
Under dark conditions or ultraviolet radiation, the material can adsorb cations and anions from water. Thereafter, the adsorbent releases the adsorbed salts under sunlight, achieving the dual goal of water desalination and sustainability.
中国厦门大学的研究人员和澳大利亚合作方的研究人员共同研发出一种能够循环使用的光响应吸附剂，用于海水淡化。
这种高效率、低能耗的吸附剂可固定于金属有机框架中，快速吸附水中的金属离子。
在黑暗或紫外光照射下，这种吸附剂能够吸附水中的阳离子和阴离子;在可见光照下，又可以析出吸附的盐离子，从而实现咸水脱盐和循环使用的双重目标。

China Electronics Corporation (CEC) launched a new-generation self-developed operating system, Kylin V10, in Guangzhou.
Developed by Kylinsoft under the CEC, the Kylin V10 features a better user experience and richer extended ecosystem, with its security level ranking first in the country.
So far, the new operating system is compatible with more than 10,000 hardware and software products, including CPU, firmware, cloud platform and big data, produced by over 1,000 domestic and foreign enterprises.
